This Privacy Policy explains how Trattoria Don Pietro (“Don Pietro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit trattoriadonpietro.com (the “Site”), contact us, or make a reservation. We are located at 2415 San Diego Ave, San Diego, CA 92110.

We built this Site to be light on data collection. We do not run advertising networks, and we only load analytics after you give consent.

Information you provide. When you use our contact or private-events forms, or submit a privacy request, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the contents of your message. Reservations are handled by OpenTable; any details you enter there are collected by OpenTable under their policy.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers and service providers may record standard log data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and timestamps. With your consent, Google Analytics collects usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, and a randomized identifier) via cookies.

Information from third parties. If you interact with our social media or reservation partners, those services may share limited information with us in aggregate.

We use two categories of cookies and similar technologies:

• Strictly necessary — required for the Site to function and to remember your cookie choice. These are always active and do not require consent.
• Analytics — Google Analytics cookies (for example_ga) that help us understand how the Site is used. These load only after you click “Accept” on our cookie banner.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards — including encryption in transit, rate limiting, and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our Site links to third-party services such as OpenTable and Instagram. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review their policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Effective” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
